Montgomery County USDA Loan

What areas of Montgomery County are eligible for the USDA Mortgage Program?

In Montgomery County, eligibility for the No Down Payment USDA Program depends on what Township the home is located in. As expected, the townships in Montgomery County that are restricted from this program can mainly be found in the southern portion of the county closest to Philadelphia.  A jagged line follows the border of ineligible townships and eligible townships starting in the western edge of the county at the Schuykill River near Eagleville and running through Kulpsville through Hatfield to the Bucks County line. This line approximately follows Route 363.

In general Montgomery County is completely eligible north of this line except for the area immediately around Pottstown.  The immediate Pottstown area is the only area in the northern/northwest part of the county that is ineligible. If you are located in an eligible township listed below, you are located in a USDA eligible area.
